In June 2021, some Head Office staff participated in the 3-day First Aid at Work course, run by St. Andrew’s First Aid Training.
Dedication to being mindful of teammates in the workplace and personal responsibility shone through every member of staff that took part in this training. The team recognised that first aid at work is immensely important and can be critical in various situations.
Gong-Ying Lee, a member of staff who participated in this training commented afterwards:
“I found the training very well planned out and practical, and the CPR, recovery positions and applying bandages aspects were very interesting. I feel the training and information given was more than adequate to be a First Aider at work. Sarah Lawrence was an excellent trainer and made the course enjoyable. I would say I feel confident now giving someone First Aid should I require to do so.”
We’re very proud of those who took part, especially when noticing their genuine regard and concern for their colleagues and acting proactively to develop skills that could critically help them in the future should a situation ever arise.
Well done team!
