New Additions to the Cliniwaste Team

At Cliniwaste, we are always extremely proud of our employees and the talent they bring to our organisation – it’s what makes us who we are! Across our sites, we have a united and dedicated team that work excellently together to service our clients throughout the UK.

As part of our continued growth within the industry, we are delighted to welcome some new additions to Cliniwaste this month, based across our UK sites.

Health & Safety

Hayley joins us as our Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Assistant and will be based at our Head Office in Shotts. Whilst working closely with the Group Compliance Manager, she will assist the rest of the Management team to develop, maintain and implement a Health & Safety strategy across the company. Hayley will work to drive H&S KPIs across all our sites, monitor potential incidents, develop H&S procedures and risk assessments and arrange appropriate H&S Audits. Our staff will also be trained by Hayley on H&S policies and induce new staff on sites on H&S areas, and she will also assist with and complete COSHH assessments and duty of care audits.

Hayley has a wealth of experience in Health and Safety through various different sectors and has a genuine enthusiasm for ensuring workplaces are safe and compliant for all involved. As Hayley will be responsible for this area for Cliniwaste as a whole, she will soon become a very familiar face to our teams across each site.

Administrative Support

Beth joins us as Personal Assistant to Directors at Head Office. Beth will act as a first point of contact to the Directors, dealing with correspondence and phone calls. She will manage diaries, meetings and appointments, and will support the directors in areas involving our other sites, providing a responsive connection between our Nottingham and Newcastle sites and our Shotts site. Beth will often visit our other sites with Directors or as a representative for them to oversee operations, therefore all our staff will soon be very used to seeing Beth around the offices.

Terri and Michaela join us as Transport Administrators, with Terri based at our Newcastle site and Michaela based at our Nottingham site. Working alongside the Logistics team, they will both ensure transport coming to and from each site is working effectively and efficiently, assisting the coordination and planning of logistical operations whilst keeping paperwork and timings of arrivals on track. They are both stringent parts of the operations team company-wide and will allow logistics to run smoothly 24/7.

Hayley, Beth, Terri and Michaela bring fantastic character, enthusiasm and energy to Cliniwaste, and we very much look forward to them joining us on our journey in the clinical waste management sector, servicing our clients and keeping compliance simple.
